Safetynet 24/7 is a service that allows your loved ones or employees to be found if they go missing or they are in an emergency. As soon as the wearer triggers the alarm we can setup a two way communication channel with family, friends, guardians, co-workers or 000. Once they are talking to someone we will pin point there location so help can get to them.
Unlike other providers our service can be used anywhere. It is not fixed to a phone line! Our device is connected directly to Telstra’s mobile phone network and we use GPS technology to pin point the wearers location in an emergency. There is no point having an safety devices if it does not operate for very long. A typical smart phones battery will last for 12 hours to a day. Our device can operate for 7+ days! This means you are safe even when your phone battery is dead and thanks to the smart features built into our device you will be found quickly when it counts.
When a personal safety alarm is triggered our service will call the phone numbers you have provided to find the correct person to connect the wearer to. If nobody answers the phone the call will be transferred to an always available phone number like 000 or a nurse station.
What happens if voicemail answers the call? There is a built in human check to make sure the user is talking to someone. There is no point connecting the call unless there is human on the other end of it.
We know everyone loves to go on holidays. So what happens if the alarm is triggered and your loved one does not know where they are? We will send you an SMS that has the current street address of the user. You will also be able to log into our website to see where and when the alarm was trigger and who answered the call.
